June 2- A time of rest

Today we leave for Masai mara, a wilderness preserve, where we will rest, debrief, decompress, and see the wild animals before returning home Thursday. Who will we be when we return home? How will what we have seen and heard challenge and change how we live? Can life ever be the same as usual?

More blogs and pictures when we return!

  1. THANK YOU Glide Kenya Volunteers , thank you SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much for your energy, for opening your hearts to my community and supporting those who help to push forward our dream.
The interaction with the staff, children and the community are more important than you will ever know. When I am in Kenya I am constantly sharing about the people on the other side who are listening, caring and supporting the work of Ray of Hope in Kawangware and all over the globe- your actions and reaction this past week put a face and a heart to the words.

THANK YOU - your words on this blog, the words you share on your return, the energy you left and the energy you take away all strengthen our primary goal- to stand as witnesses to both the strength and fraility of the human spirit and the power of love and community to transform the essence of our souls.
